1.)    Question:    Where can I find information about what is available from Public Relations for my Squadron?

Answer:  Information is available in the Public Relations Handbook; you can obtain a copy from National Headquarters or on the internet in the Public Relations area of The American Legion web site at

2.)    Question:    There are speeches that I can use for some of the major Holidays, are they updated on a regular basis.

Answer:  Yes they are rewritten to keep the speeches current and relative to today’s ever changing information.

3.)    Question:    We took some pictures at our last fund raising event, what should we do with them.

Answer:  You should take them to your local newspaper with a short article about your event. How many attended, monies raised and the organization your event assisted. You can also send this information to the Sons of The American Legion Update Editor.
