To amend title 28, United States Code, with respect to the jurisdiction
of
Federal courts inferior to the Supreme Court over certain cases and
controversies involving the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Affairs Backlog Reduction (V A & R)
To provide for a reduction in the backlog of claims for benefits pending
with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
4. Department of Veterans
Affairs Long-Term Care (V A & R)
A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to improve and enhance the
provision of long-term health care for veterans by the Department of Veterans
Affairs, to enhance and improve authorities relating to the administration
of
personnel of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.

Drug Assistance (V A & R)
6. Reduce the age for
receipt of military retired pay for non-regular service
from 60 to 55 (V A & R)
A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to reduce the age for receipt
of
military retired pay for nonregular service from 60 to 55.
7. Protect Military Children
(Children & Youth)
A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to prohibit the concurrent
deployment to combat zones of both military spouses of military families
with minor children, and for other purposes.
8. Prisoner of War Benefits
(V A & R)
Amends Federal veterans' benefits provisions with respect to former
prisoners of war to repeal the currently required:
(1) 30-day minimum period of internment prior to the presumption
of service connection for certain listed diseases, for purposes
of the payment of veterans' disability compensation; and
(2) 90-day minimum period of internment prior to eligibility for
dental care furnished through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Adds the following to the listed diseases under (1), above:
heart disease, stroke, liver disease, diabetes (type 2), and osteoporosis.
Requires:
(1) such presumption also with respect to any disease that the
Secretary of Veterans Affairs determines warrants such presumption by
reason of having a positive association with the experience of being a
prisoner of war; and
(2) the Secretary to make such a determination within 60 days after a
recommendation from the Advisory Committee on Former Prisoners of
War that such presumption be established for a non-listed disease.
9. Veterans Health Care
Funding Guarantee (V A & R)
To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide an enhanced funding
process to ensure an adequate level of funding for veterans health care
programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs, to establish standards
of
access to care for veterans seeking health care from the Department of
Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.
10. Veterans Medicare
Reimbursement (V A & R)
To provide for Medicare reimbursement for health care services provided
to
Medicare-eligible veterans in facilities of the Department of Veterans
Affairs.
11. Violence Against Children
Act (Children & Youth)
To provide enhanced Federal enforcement and assistance in preventing and
prosecuting crimes of violence against children.
12. Public Records Open
to End Child Tragedy (PROTECT) Act
(Children & Youth)
To amend the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act to require public
disclosure of information about cases of child abuse or neglect which result
in child fatality, near fatality, other serious injury, or felony conviction
