Team Central, Race Championship Series #10 for 105% membership is coming to a close on July 24th. We are speeding away at 98.349%. We can still make first place with a little push of the pedal. The pit crews are doing their job and the Squadron Commanders are doing the driving and the car chiefs are pushing all of them to get to the finish line first. We have been in 4th place for too long. THERE IS STILL TIME TO MAKE THE PUSH. Congratulations Iowa for leading the region at 106.8%.Illinois is second with 100.1% and Michigan is close with 99.6%, Wisconsin at 98.4%, Missouri at 98.6% and Ohio is at 97.3%. We are so close to making the 105%. Let’s push in the final lap and win the race for membership. I would like to thank all the Detachment Commanders and Squadron Commanders for the fine job they did this year in promoting the Sons of the American Legion. Many programs over succeeded themselves this year and Child Welfare raised over $332,000. Without all of the Sons out there working together and working with the Legion Family many of the programs could not be accomplished. I have had the pleasure of traveling the region and meeting many of you. The chance to see how your state represents the Sons of the American Legion. It has been very interesting and enjoyable. Thank all of you for the great hospitality. It has been my pleasure to serve as your Nation Vice Commander this year. Looking forward to seeing you at National Convention in Phoenix.
