To the many fine members of The American Legion, Auxiliary, and S.A.L., that came down to the V A for events held for the veterans living and receiving medical assistance from the V A. I wish for all to know how much I want to convey to them the THANKS for all that they do to assist the VAVS section of the Medical Center.

I think it's a wonderful experience to be able to share the combined efforts given by these different organizations, coming together to assist our "Home Town Heroes. In their hour of need and re-adjustment from theaters of conflicts all over the globe for the freedom they provide, by their unselfish efforts to keep America "The Land of The Free."

I am proud to be among men and women of The American Legion of Michigan, that give of their time and energy to provide some hope of appreciation to the veterans that gave so willingly their all, for 'FREEDOM." Veterans First" - always.
