Greetings my “Brother Sons”,

Well here we are coming to the end of winter and spring might just be around the corner. Hey, could we get some help from the Detachment of Pennsylvania? The next time that groundhog sticks it’s head out, smack him back in his hole.

As chairman Ronnie has said in his most recent article; we cannot stress how important the upcoming National Assist a Veterans Day on May 17th is going to be to our National Commander and our organization. Hopefully your squadrons have started to make plans for this fast approaching date. National is in the process of working on a poster to help promote this program within your community. Remember we are not only assisting veterans but also their families. Let the needs of those you are assisting guide your actions.

But say you can’t find someone to assist, well it will be springtime your squadron could have a cleanup/ fix-it-up day at you post or maybe you have a veteran’s memorial in town that needs a little TLC.

Remember that this date has been set aside to get more personally involved with our nations veterans.
